Bannatyne Campus AED locations

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable device used to diagnose and treat life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias through defibrillation, the application of an electric shock to the heart.

AEDs are designed to be simple to use, even by individuals without medical training, and are crucial in situations where someone experiences sudden cardiac arrest.

Carry-over dollars may now be used to support key initiatives and priorities. The files below support the process by helping Rady Faculty of Health Sciences strategically re-prioritize any carried-over funds.

For capital requests, please review the carry-over funds request process and complete the capital project submission form.

For all other submissions, please review the new program/new initiative request process on the best way to proceed.

Disposal of Capital assets

If your unit has assets that need to be disposed of, follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the Form: The department or unit in charge of the capital asset fills out the Capital Asset Management Disposal Advice Form. For multiple assets, simply fill out a form for each one. The form is available on Sharepoint.

  2. Submit for Approval: Once the form(s) is completed, send it to RFHS Operations for approval.

  3. Final Approval and Processing: Upon receiving approval, the signed form(s) will be forwarded to Capital Accounting. RFHS Operations will also copy the department or unit responsible for the asset(s).

  4. Execution: Once the form is signed by both the executive director and capital accounting, the responsible department or unit needs to submit a work order to Physical Plant for the removal of the item(s). Make sure to include the PDF(s) of the Capital Asset Management Disposal Advice Form(s) with the work order.
