Parker Building (Chemistry)

The Parker building is named in honour of Matthew A. Parker, one of the first six science professors to be appointed to the University staff in 1904, the year the University began to teach courses in its own right. Before 1904, the University served as the examining body of students enrolled in its constituent Colleges and as the institution which conferred degrees on graduates of the Colleges.
