John A. Russell Building

John A. Russell Building

Built for the Faculty of Architecture in 1959, the building's two-story open court brings natural light into the heart of the structure. "Night and Day" is the name of the large bronze sculpture by the English artist Cecil Richards at the northside of the entrance. The foyer ceramic relief is a work by Jack Sures. The building is named after John A. Russell, a member of the faculty for 38 years.
