The American Sign Language – English Interpretation program is a three-year joint program offered by Red River College and the University of Manitoba. The purpose of the program is to develop the skills required to function as an American Sign Language – English Interpreter in facilitating interactions between hearing and deaf individuals in a wide variety of settings. Graduates will receive a diploma in ASL – English Interpretation from RRC and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the U of M. Successful completion of the Deaf Studies Program at RRC is a prerequisite for the ASL – English Interpretation joint degree program.
