The University of Manitoba Transport Institute Certificate in Logistics program is offered in coordination with Red River College (RRC) and the Canadian Institute for Traffic and Transportation (CITT). Most people working in the transportation industry have learned their “trade” on-the-job. The new reality is that industry can no longer afford to educate its staff this way and the need for continuous learning has increased. To advance a career in this field now requires a new level of professionalism and formal education. 

To qualify for the Certificate, students are required to complete eight of the thirteen courses offered in the program. Students will be able to select from nine courses offered through the University of Manitoba Transport Institute and four courses offered by RRC.
