![]() An honours student in psychology with a talent for music and a penchant for politics, Sara Kreindler was one of three Rhodes Scholars selected from the prairie region in the 1998-99 competition for what many consider the world's most prestigious scholarship. She is no stranger to awards; she entered the U of M as a winner of one of the university's Leader of Tomorrow scholarships; since then she has earned many other academic awards. She also won the gold medal in Arts at May convocation. Her long term interests are in international law or labour relations, but Kreindler intends first to broaden her education in the humanities by reading for the Oxford Bachelor of Arts degree in modern history and English.
Since 1966, the U of M has been among the top five universities in Canada
for the number of Rhodes winners.
