Faculty of Architecture students meet President & Vice-Chancellor David Barnard at a reception he hosted in honour of students’ generosity through the referenda process.

Department of Architecture

UMAAS (U of M Association of Architecture Students) held its first referendum in November 1989

  Voted for a three year term; $50 per student; allocated to the Endowment Fund

  • Votes held:
    • 1995 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 1998 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 2001 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 2004 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 2006 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 2010 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 2012 – $50 – Endowment Fund
  • A total of $88,971 since 1989

Department of City Planning 

                         

       UMAPS (University of Manitoba Association of Planning Students) held its first referendum in April 1988

       Voted for a three year term; $75 per student; allocated to the Endowment Fund

  •        Votes held:

    • 1994 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 1997 – $50 – Endowment Fund

  Department of Interior Design 

              

     IDEAS (Interior Design Students Association) held its first referendum in November 2006

  • Voted for a three year term; $50 per student; allocated to the Endowment Fund
  • Votes held:

    • 2013 – $50 – Endowment Fund
  • A total of $17,729 since 2006
