School of Dental Hygiene students meet President & Vice-Chancellor David Barnard at a reception he hosted in honour of students’ generosity through the referenda process.

• MDHSA (Manitoba Dental Hygiene Student Association) held its first referendum in May 1991
• Voted for a three year term; $30 per student; allocated to the Endowment Fund
• Votes held:
  1993 – $30 – Endowment Fund
  1996 – $30 – Endowment Fund
  2000 – $30 – Endowment Fund
  2002 – $50 – Endowment Fund
  2006 – $60 – Endowment Fund
  2008 – $60 – Student Lounge
