  • UMES (University of Manitoba Engineering Students) held its first referendum in January, 1987
  • Voted for a three year term; $50 per student; allocated to the Endowment Fund
  • Votes held:

    • 1989 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 1992 – $50 – Endowment Fund
    • 1996 – $75 – Endowment Fund ($50) & Building Fund ($25)
    • 2099 – $150 – Endowment Fund ($100) & Building Fund ($50)
    • 2001 – $175 – Endowment Fund ($100) & Building Fund ($75)
    • 2004 – $175 – Endowment Fund ($100) & Building Fund ($75)
    • 2008 – $100 – Endowment Fund
    • 2010 – $110 – Endowment Fund
    • 2013 – $120 – Endowment Fund
