being honoured by President & Vice-Chancellor David Barnard in recognition of students' generosity through the referenda process.

  • NSA (Nursing Students Association) held its first referendum in March 1988
  • Voted for a three year term; $35 per student; allocated to the Endowment Fund
  • Votes held:          
    1990 – $35 – Endowment Fund
    1993 – $35 – Endowment Fund
    1998 – $35 – Endowment Fund
    2001 – $50 – Endowment Fund ($35) & Helen Glass Centre ($15)
    2004 – $65 – Endowment Fund
    2006 – $80 – Endowment Fund
    2008 – $90 – Endowment Fund (90%) & Student Initiative Fund (10%)
    2011 – $90 – Endowment Fund (88%), Student Initiative Fund (10%) & Humanitarian Fund (2%)
    2014 – $99 – Endowment Fund (88%), Student Initiative Fund (10%) & Humanitarian Fund (2%)
