Creative minds have been flourishing at the School of Art since 1913. As Western Canada’s oldest degree-granting art school, many of its alumni have been recognized around the world for their ingenuity, insight and commitment to the craft. The school’s on-campus gallery houses its permanent collection and the FitzGerald Study Collection, offering a continuous program of exhibitions.
Students in the school can explore art history, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, print media, sculpture and video. Students also have the opportunity to connect with local artist-run centres and the global art community.
TAP’s innovative design will promote interdisciplinary collaboration across media, helping to expand students’ horizons.
