Faculty of Engineering

The primary fundraising priority for the Faculty of Engineering is to enhance the student experience through improved scholarships, bursaries and state-of-the-art laboratories for engineering students. The Faculty of Engineering Centenary Award aims to provide scholarships for all undergraduate students performing at or above the C+ level.

The Faculty Bursaries Fund needs to be expanded to support students to the level needed. Contributions to the Engineering Endowment Fund help to support student projects and the continuous improvements of laboratories.

Libraries

One of our top priorities is to collect and digitize materials about Manitoba. This will be a collection that is unique to Manitoba and will be available online to academic staff, students and members of the broader community.

Providing an exceptional student experience is integral to what we do. Libraries are places where students gather to study and work, either in groups or individually. Currently, the Elizabeth Dafoe Library has completed the first stage of a multi-phased renovation. Our goal is to continue with these renovations to create a place for students to study and connect with their colleagues.
