| School of Medical Rehabilitation - The Juliette Cooper Lectureship in Rehabilitation Science |
Named for Dr. Cooper, former Director of the School of Medical Rehabilitation and a strong proponent of rehabilitation research, the Juliette Cooper Lectureship in Rehabilitation Science is one of the school’s fundraising priorities. The lectureship will support visits of national and international scholars who are outstanding researchers in areas related to rehabilitation and which advance knowledge in the fields of occupational therapy, physical therapy and respiratory therapy. |
| Faculty of Medicine – Medicine with a Difference Fund |
This unrestricted fund provides critical flexibility, enabling the Faculty of Medicine to meet its most pressing needs. Over the past year, Medicine with a Difference has provided the faculty the funds to award seven entrance scholarships of $5,000 each to Aboriginal students and has supported the opening of the Clinical Learning and Simulation Facility. This year’s funds will be directed to the School’s Professional Practice in support of its commitment to ensure today’s doctors adhere to the high standards of ethical conduct. |

Under Project Domino -- the campus-wide initiative that promotes sustainability through redevelopment of several major facilities at the Fort Garry Campus, including Taché Hall -- the Marcel A. Desautels Faculty of Music will be revitalized and have appropriate space to properly deliver its programs. |
| Faculty of Nursing –Graduate Fellowships | The Faculty of Nursing's main priority is to raise funds for graduate student support. The Faculty is preparing to launch a Ph.D. program, and graduate fellowships at the doctoral level will help attract and retain outstanding doctoral students. |

This unrestricted fund provides critical flexibility, enabling the Faculty of Pharmacy to meet its most pressing needs.
In the coming months, the fund will be used to ensure the new classrooms and laboratories are filled with the most up-to-date teaching equipment and materials. |

The Faculty of Social Work has taken their support of the student experience one step further by creating a dedicated fund for this purpose. Donations to the Social Work Student Experience Fund will provide students with an exceptional student experience by supporting projects that may fall outside the typical social work curriculum, and therefore are not supported by student awards or tuition.
