Project Domino
Project Domino is a brilliant solution to many of the university’s infrastructure priorities because it revitalizes the buildings we already have on campus. Thirteen units and faculties will benefit from this major redevelopment. The project will retrofit existing facilities and move faculties and departments to better suit their needs, and it will create new opportunities for other faculties to move into the refurbished space – a strategic domino effect. It is an exciting new initiative that will both transform and preserve the historic buildings on the Fort Garry Campus, and it will poise the University of Manitoba to meet the needs of students and faculty for years to come.

The centrepiece of the project is the redevelopment of the Taché Hall residence into the Taché Arts Project,a new home for the Marcel A. Desautels Faculty of Music, the School of Art and the Department of English, Film and Theatre's Black Hole Theatre.
