E-PayStubs

Are you still receiving a paper pay stub? Join the e-pay stub program today & help create a greener University of Manitoba!

 Payroll Services has Gone Green!
Payroll Services has heard your concerns… and we’ve gone green!  In 2010 we began phasing in e-pay stubs.  Employees can access JUMP, the University of Manitoba’s portal, to view their payroll information online or may elect to “opt out” and continue to receive a paper copy.

Converting to e-pay stubs provides the following benefits:

 Faster & More Convenient Access
Don’t wait for the mail.  Your web based e-pay stub is available to view a full day and a half prior to your pay date.  No more pay stubs arriving late or getting lost in the mail. You will have the ability to view your e-pay stubs online easily and quickly for several years.

Added Security
You require your user id and password to login to JUMP to view your e-pay stub, which means only you have access to your online documents.

 More Flexibility
With Internet access, you can view your payroll information from any computer, anytime, anywhere.  You can keep on top of your pay, even when you’re not at the office!

A Healthier Environment
You will no longer receive paper pay stubs. Payroll Services distributes over 192,000 pay stubs annually…that’s over 23 trees we could save by moving to e-pay stubs!  Additional savings will result from reducing the quantity of envelopes and resources used to print, sort and mail the pay stubs each and every week.

We recognize not all employees may have convenient access to a computer at work.  Employees will be setup to receive their pay stub electronically or may elect to “opt out” and continue to receive paper pay stubs just as they do now.  However, we hope employees will make the decision to “Go Green” and no longer request paper copies.

Getting Started
You can access your e-pay stub by logging into JUMP using your UMnetID, this is your personal sign-in name and password used to access your University email & computer technology services. JUMP is a secure site which is designed to show only the logged in user information pertaining to their profile at the University.

Employees who do not have an ID may visit www.umanitoba.ca/claimid to get started.
