A number of complaints have been received in the past with regard to persons who keep pets on University premises. This situation resulted in unsanitary conditions in several areas on the Campus.

It was therefore deemed necessary to prohibit staff from bringing any pets into University of Manitoba buildings. The only exception to this prohibition is for seeing eye dogs.
