Senate Motions

The following motions were approved by the Senate at its meeting on April 2, 2003.

MOTION

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, as endorsed by the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies on February 26, 2003.

MOTION

THAT the Proposal of Continuing Education for the introduction of a Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis [as approved by the Continuing Education Division Council on November 27, 2002] be approved by Senate.

MOTION

THAT the minutes of the Senate meeting held on February 5, 2003 be approved as circulated.

MOTION

THAT the following nominations to the Senate Committee on Nominations be approved by Senate for three-year terms ending on May 31, 2006:

a) Agricultural and Food Sciences: Professor Bernie Dronzek (Senator) re-elected
b) Musics, Fine Arts, NRI and Libraries: Professor Richard Burleson (Senator) re-elected
c) Education and Physical Education: Dean Dennis Hrycaiko (Senator)

MOTION

THAT the report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies regarding Supplemental Regulations in the Master of Occupational Therapy program [dated February 26, 2003] be approved by Senate.

MOTION

THAT the report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning a proposal from the Faculty of Environment [dated February 25, 2003] be approved by Senate.

MOTION

THAT the report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning a proposal from the Faculty of Nursing [dated February 25, 2003] be approved by Senate.
