The following motions were approved by the Senate at its meeting on September 7, 2005.
MOTION
THAT the minutes of the Senate meeting held on June 29, 2005 be approved as amended.
MOTION
THAT Senate approve and recommend that the Board of Governors approve the proposal of the Faculty of Graduate Studies to introduce a Ph.D. in Design and Planning [as endorsed by the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies on February 28, 2004 and by the report of the Senate Planning and Priorities Committee dated May 16, 2005].
MOTION
THAT Senate approve and recommend that the Board of Governors approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Awards PART B [dated August 3, 2005].
MOTION
THAT Senate approve and recommend that the Board of Governors approve the proposal of the Continuing Education Division to change its name to the Division of Extended Education [as endorsed by the Continuing Education Council on May 4, 2005].
