Senate Motions
 

The following motions were approved by the Senate at its meeting on April 5, 2006.

MOTION

THAT Senate approve the proposal for a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering [as endorsed by the Extended Education Council on January 18, 2006].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Medical Qualifications regarding Dr. Elizabeth Cowden [dated February 20, 2006].

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, regarding course proposals, modifications, and deletions, as endorsed by the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies on February 27, 2006.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Rules and Procedures: regarding the Faculty of Pharmacy, [dated February 23, 2006].

MOTION

THAT Senate approve the report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning a proposal from the Faculty of Pharmacy to clarify its admission requirement concerning residency in Manitoba, effective for the 2006 – 07 regular academic session [dated February 16, 2006].

THAT Senate approve the report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning a proposal from the Faculty Law to modify its admission requirements concerning LSAT scores and transfer applications, effective for the 2007-08 fall/winter session [dated February 16, 2006].

THAT Senate approve the report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning a proposal from the Faculty of Engineering to modify its admission requirements for applicants applying after completing first year outside the Faculty, effective for the 2007-08 fall/winter session [dated February 16, 2006].
