MOTION

THAT the minutes of the Senate meeting held on March 7, 2007 be approved as circulated.

MOTION

THAT Senate approve and recommend that the Board of Governors approve the proposal of the Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface to introduce a Baccalauréat en service social ( Bachelor of Social Work ) [as endorsed by the Senate Committee on Curriculum and Course Changes, January 22, 2007 and by the Senate Planning and  Priorities Committee, February 5, 2007].

MOTION

THAT Senate approve the report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning a proposal from the Faculty of Education to change its admissions requirements by adding criminal records and child abuse registry check for its Bachelor of Education Program [dated November 21, 2006], effective for the September 2007 intake.

THAT Senate approve  the report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning a proposal from the Faculty of Architecture to enact reforms in the Environmental Design Program, effective for the September 2008 intake [dated February 20, 2007].

THAT Senate approve the report of the Senate Committee on Rules and Procedures concerning a proposal from the Faculty of Music regarding amendments of the Faculty Council Bylaw [dated March 1, 2007].

THAT Senate approve and recommend that the Board of Governors approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Awards PART B [dated March 7, 2007].

MOTION

THAT the Report of the University Discipline Committee re: revisions to the Student Discipline Bylaw [dated March 1, 2007], be endorsed to the Board of Governors.
