THAT Senate approve the 2013-2014 Academic Schedule, a revision to the 2012-2013 Academic Schedule, and the Report of the Senate Committee on Curriculum and Courses Changes on Course and Program Changes.

THAT the minutes of the Senate meeting held on November 7, 2012 be approved as circulated.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation concerning the Faculty of Medicine Policy on Forward Feeding of Clerkship Summative Evaluation Information, effective upon approval.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation concerning revised graduation requirements for the B.Sc. Major degree programs, including the Cooperative Options, in Biological Sciences and Chemistry, effective September 1, 2013.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation concerning amendments to the Academic Regulations of the Faculty of Human Ecology to establish a policy for assessing the academic standing of Direct Entry students, effective for the September 2012 intake of students.

THAT Senate approve amendments to the Academic Regulations of the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science, and University 1, concerning:

• academic standing and academic suspension; and
• the Dean’s Honour List and the University 1 Honour List; and
• rules for transiting from University 1 to the Faculties of Arts and Science; and
• admission requirements for transfer students seeking admission to the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Science, effective for September 2013.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Instruction and Evaluation regarding amendments to the Academic Regulations of the Université de Saint-Boniface including revisions to the:

• passing grade for courses in the baccalauréat en education, effective September 1, 2012; and to the
• academic assessment regulations of the faculté des arts and the faculté des sciences concerning academic suspension, effective September 1, 2013; and to the
• Academic Regulations of the faculté des arts, the faculté des sciences, and université 1 concerning the Dean’s Honour List, effective September 1, 2012.

THAT Senate approve and recommend that the Board of Governors approve a proposal from the Faculty of Arts regarding the introduction of a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Senate Committee on Admissions concerning the deletion of the statement of interest in teaching from the admission requirements for the Faculty of Education, effective for the 2013-2014 intake.

THAT Senate approve the Report of the Faculty Council of Graduate Studies on Program and Curriculum Changes regarding the Department of Canadian Studies, Université de Saint-Boniface, and the Faculty of Nursing [October 31, 2012].
