About Us

Change Management & Project Services (CMaPS) is a department within Human Resources and is responsible for providing change management, project management (non-IT related), and process improvement services to the University community.  We work with departments on a consultative basis to help facilitate and support changes that improve the University and its community.

Heidi Adamko

Education
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, University of Manitoba
• Master’s Business Administration, University of Manitoba
• Prosci Change Management certification
• PRINCE2® Practitioner certification

Experience
• Employed at the University and working in the role of Director of CMaPS since 2015
• Over 15 years of experience leading process improvement, change, and technical projects at MTS and WRHA

Leslie Cole, Improvement Specialist

Leslie Cole

Education
• Bachelor of Applied Science, University of Waterloo
• Masters of Applied Science, University of Waterloo

Experience
• Employed at the University since 2015 and has been working as an Improvement Specialist since 2016
• Over 20 years of experience in lean methodologies, continuous improvement, team building and fact based decision making, primarily in the automotive industry in south western Ontario

Krystyl Bergen

Education
• Bachelor of Environmental Design, University of Manitoba
• Masters of City Planning (Candidate), University of Manitoba

Experience
• Employed at the University and working in conjunction with CMaPS and the Office of Human Rights and Conflict Management to coordinate implementation of The Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA) since 2016
• Experience in Environmental Design and City Planning and working with the disability community, resulting in a strong awareness of designed spaces and the way in which people occupy them
