This celebrates the exceptional contributions of support staff during their career at the university. The Award consists of a certificate of recognition and a financial prize. Award winners may be eligible for subsequent awards after five years.
Criteria
- Has achieved distinction during their career at the U of M by contributing to the university’s mission and goals
- Serves as a role model for other university employees
- Provides the highest level of service to the university community
- Demonstrates high standards of professionalism and consistently goes beyond the requirements of their position
- Promotes collaboration and a sense of collegiality across the university
- Demonstrates creativity or initiative in improving procedures, practices, productivity and service levels
- Promotes a positive work environment, characterized by respect, support, trust, and collegiality
- At least 10 years service at the U of M
