Replacing REACH-UM, UM Careers will include all staff and academic positions.
External applicants for staff positions will utilize a web interface to search and apply for posted jobs. In the near future, Human Resources will communicate on the application process for academic positions.
Employees will access the recruiting tool through JUMP, within Employee Self-Service (ESS). There, employees will have their own personal recruitment tab, where they can upload their resumes and cover letters, apply for jobs, and view and accept offers. Managers will access their Manager Information Portal (MIP), also in ESS. They will be able to manage their recruitment processes in MIP - posting jobs, viewing applications, assigning temporary hiring committee access to the applications, and sending offers to successful candidates.
