The University of Manitoba has dedicated itself to integrating Indigenous Achievement into all of the four pillars of its Strategic Planning Framework.

Vision
The University of Manitoba will work with a variety of partners to make Manitoba the national centre for Indigenous education and research and in particular to allow First Nations, Métis and Inuit students to be prepared for and to achieve educational success in the full range of academic programs we offer.

Goal
Build and expand an Indigenous presence and visibility at the University of Manitoba and the broader Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities that will result in improved access, recruitment, retention and completion for First Nations, Métis and Inuit learners.
