The University of Manitoba Students’ Union (UMSU) and the University of Manitoba are collaborating to improve the artistic and aesthetic environment at the University in a way that promotes the creative talents of the University’s students and encourages celebration and promotion of student engagement.
Goal: to surprise and delight the University community with artistic expression and performance while promoting the creative talents of students.
Painted murals, sculpture and musical performance will soon transform the campus community experience. The three programs are:
Tunnel Vision
The creation of art and murals in select areas of the University’s tunnel system
Sculptural Experience
A juried competition for the creation and installation of a significant work of sculpture
Random Acts of Music
The coordination of musical performance at select times and locations around campus

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Tannis Campbell, CPAM Administrator at tannis_campbell@umanitoba.ca.
Honoraria and reimbursement to cover the cost of supplies will be provided to successful applicants.
For 2010/2011 academic year CPAM will select:
1 Sculptor
2 Tunnel Vision Artists
3 Musical Performers (either solo or group)
