Career Development Program for International Agribusiness Graduate Students (CDPI) is a student organization helps international student prepare for careers.
Benefits for the Employers
- to have exposure to high quality international graduate
students and observe them in work situations.
- to have international graduate students available for projects, short-term assignments, consultations, analysis, or data projects.
- to gain an awareness of international graduate students and their potential contributions to employers, and potential for initial and permanent employment.
Goals of Program
- to have international graduate students gain initial employment experience, e.g. 10-20 hours per week, primarily in the second year of their graduate degree (or summer job), spend a day with employers (job shadowing), build work place skill which, in some cases, might lead to more permanent employment.
- to regularly invite employers and speakers to give employment and career seminars, and advice to students. More...
