Graduate Student Activities
Summer Barbecues
Each summer grad students fire up the grill and make some money. These weekly atrium barbecues have become an animal science tradition. Students and staff from other departments and faculties flock to our department to gobble up tasty burgers, hotdogs, and - new for this year - samosas, all at reasonable prices. While everyone gets to enjoy the vittles, the profits go to a good cause. The grad students use the money they raise to fund other student activities.
