The University of Manitoba’s Plant Science Graduate Student Association is proud to be hosting the

28th Annual Plant Science Graduate Student Symposium (PSGSS)

• March 23-24th, 2012 at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

• The PSGSS is a two day event designed to bring graduate students  together from across border Universities and expose them to new plant science research initiatives taking place in other regions.

• Through collaborative efforts, we are preparing to meet the world’s agricultural challenges of today by sharing our research and discussing new approaches to advance plant science progress in the following areas: Agronomy, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Genomics, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology & Weed Science.

• The Symposium provides a comfortable setting for professional development of scientific knowledge and interpersonal communication skills including networking and oral presentation.
