Rooms are available in three types of residences on the Fort Garry Campus:

• Suite-Style - Arthur V. Mauro Residence (AVM)
• Room with Private Washroom - Pembina Hall Residence (PHR)
• Dormitory-Style - University College Residence (UCR)

Applications for Summer Accommodation are available online on March 11, 2013.  If you have questions about monthly leases (more than 30 days), please email: summer_accommodations@umanitoba.ca.

If you have any questions about short stays (29 days or less), please email: conference_accommodations@umanitoba.ca.

Office Hours are extended during summer (staff are scheduled at Arthur V. Mauro Residence 24/7) to help you plan your check-in and check-out.

 ► Suite-Style Residence - Arthur V. Mauro Residence

Each suite consists of two bedrooms. Each bedroom within a suite includes: A double bed - extra long Desk and chair Closet and dresser Air conditioning beginning in June Free Internet access (Ethernet cable required)

► AVM Suite Floor Plan

► Shared access to:

• En-suite washroom shared with suitemate only
• En-suite kitchenette including: sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, table, chairs, and cupboards shared with suitemate only
• Communal lounge on most floors with TV

► You will need to provide:

• Your own kitchenware (pots, pans, dishes, cutlery)
• Your own linens (bedding, towels, etc.)
• Cleaning/personal supplies (dishsoap, handsoap, shampoo, etc.) Note: vacuums can be borrowed from the Front Office (when available)
• Items such as bedside lamps, alarm clocks, computer cabling, hangers, etc.

 ► Single Room with Private Washroom - Pembina Hall Residence

Each room complete with its own private washroom with shower and consists of: A single bed, adjustable height Desk and chair Stackable storage drawers Storage drawer with padded seat Bookcase Closet Air conditioning Free wireless and wired Internet access (cable required)

► PHR Room Floor Plan

 ► Dormitory-Style Residence - University College Residence

	Each room includes the use of: A single twin-sized bed Desk, chair, and bookshelf Closet or wardrobe Electric fan Free Internet access Shared male washrooms & shared female washrooms on floor Communal kitchenette including: sink and microwave (bring your own kitchenware) Communal lounges on each floor.

► Suite-Style - Arthur V. Mauro Residence

• Monthly (no taxes) - linen and daily housekeeping not provided:
• One bedroom - $525 (for single occupancy) / $262.50 for August 1-14
• Two bedrooms - $950 (full suite single occupancy) / $475 for August 1-14

► Room with Private Washroom - Pembina Hall Residence

• Monthly (no taxes):
• One bedroom - $525 (for single occupancy) / $262.50 for August 1-14

► Dormitory-Style - University College Residence

• Monthly (no taxes):
• Single - $425 per month / $212.50 for August 1-14
• Super Single - $475 per month / $237.50 for August 1-14

► Please Note: Summer 2013 residents who have already reserved a residence room for the 2013/14 full academic year are allowed to stay in residence from August 15th to 31st at the summer monthly rate if they wish, but will be required to move to their Fall 2013 room at some point during this period.

 ► Long Term Stays Cancellation Policy

• Contracts are based on calendar months (i.e., May, June, July - without pro-rated amounts).
• Notice of cancellation of this contract must be received in writing no less than 30 days prior to your original requested arrival date. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture (loss of) one month’s fees. No-shows will be charged one month’s rent.
• If you decide to cancel this contract with less than one month remaining, a refund will not be provided.
• If you wish to move out, notice must be submitted at least one calendar month in advance (e.g., if you are planning to move out on May 31, your notice must be submitted no later than May 1 or you will be charged for the month) or a fee of $150.00 will be charged.
