Students and staff can also find a place to live off-campus through the University of Manitoba Students' Union (UMSU) UMSU Living Office. The Office is located at 108A University Centre and is open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, (summer hours may be limited); phone 204-474-9717 or toll-free for Manitoba residents 1-800-432-1960 (extension 9717). The office will help with rent, sublet, carpool, and buy/sell furniture. Their email is umsuliving@umsu.ca.

UMSU Living also has a listing of Furniture or Houshold Items for sale that may help you start up your own living arrangements.

►  Waste Prevention Office - The University of Manitoba Physical Plant Department’s Waste Prevention Office also offers free furniture and office supplies right on the Fort Garry Campus to faculty, staff, students, registered Manitoba Charities, and the general public. No delivery service is available for off-campus housing. For more information, please contact:
