Move-Out Final Clean-Up
Ensure you have followed the cleaning checklist. (see below)

Your room must be left in the same condition as when you moved in, and all furniture must be placed back into the same arrangment as it was on move-in day.

All garbage must be disposed of in the proper locations.

Ensure that there is only one mattress on your bed. If there is more than one mattress, you are responsible for moving the extra mattress back to where it came from.

Personal items and garbage are not to be left in your room, in common areas, storage areas, hallways, or bathrooms, etc.

Garbage and/or Recycling should be taken to the appropriate Collection Rooms.

Please note: Cleaning products must be used.

► Bedroom:

  • Wardrobe - Cleaned inside and out and on top (completely empty)
  • Desk & Bookshelves - Completely wiped down (completely empty)
  • Chair(s) - Completely wiped down
  • Bed - Dust frame, check under the bed to make sure there is nothing underneath (vacuum underneath)
  • Floor - Vacuumed
  • Window(s) - Windexed
  • Garbage and recycle bins - Emptied and washed out; garbage/recycling removed to proper collection areas

► AVM/PHR Washroom:

  • Shower - Inside and outside, thoroughly cleaned
  • Toilet - Top, back, sides, inside, thoroughly cleaned
  • Cupboards/drawers - Inside and outside, thoroughly cleaned
  • Countertop - Completely cleaned
  • Mirror(s) - Windexed
  • Sink and taps - Cleaned
  • Floor - Swept and washed
  • Garbage bin - Emptied and washed out; garbage removed to proper collection area

► AVM Kitchen:

  • Refrigerator - Shelves taken out and cleaned, vegetable baskets taken out and cleaned, side shelves, the bottom and sides of fridge, the outside and on top
  • Microwave - Cleaned inside and out (if you heat a cup of water and let the steam build up in the microwave, the crusted-on food wipes off quite easily)
  • Cupboards - Inside and outside
  • Counters - Completely clean
  • Floors - Swept and washed
  • Sink - Wiped out
  • Garbage and recycle bins - Emptied and washed out; garbage/recycling removed to proper collection areas
