Student Parking 2018-2019

The Student Parking Reservation System is now closed

If you still require student parking for the 2018-2019 academic year:

COMMUTER STUDENTS: Log in to your JUMP Account and add your name to the Student Parking Waitlist. When a space becomes available, offers will be sent via email or by letter should email not be available.

If you registered and issued payment of the 2018-2019 student parking fee during the online registration period, you may now log in to your Parking Account by clicking on the link below using your UMNetID and password. You will be able to view your lot assignment as well as make changes to vehicle information associated with your assigned Student Parking Permit.

You may also log in to your JUMP account, using your UMNetID and password to to view your lot assignment. Vehicle information cannot be updated or changed through JUMP.

Commuter Student Permits will be mailed out mid-August.

Students who have an out-of-province address listed will be required to attend Parking Services along with valid photo ID to pick up their permit.

ACE Lot Waitlist

The ACE Lot waitlist will be available on August 1, 2018. No requests will be accepted before that date.

In order to successfully request to be placed on the ACE Lot waitlist, only students who have registered and made payment through the online parking registration process are eligible.

To be added to the ACE Lot waitlist, students MUST send an email from their U of M student account to with their name and student number. Once spots in ACE Lot become available, students being offered a permit in ACE Lot will be contacted by Parking Services via their student email to confirm that they will be mailed a permit.

This year, residence permits will be issued as virtual permits. A virtual permit is identified by the vehicle's licence plate; no physical permit/hang-tag is required.
Residence students who have already issued payment of the 2018-2019 student parking fee will be notified of their lot location via student email by the end of August.
