The Centre for Higher Education Research and Development (CHERD) has been Canada's leading provider of high quality courses for university and college administrators for over two decades. The Ontario College Administrative Staff Association (OCASA) has been Ontario’s college administrators’ professional association for over 15 years. OCASA is committed to supporting the needs of Ontario’s college administrators, including professional development goals. This partnership delivers the flexibility and responsiveness needed in today’s fast-paced, changing environment.

Goal
To provide online education that addresses professional development needs of Ontario’s college administrators in reaching administrative excellence.

Administrators who are:
     • interested in increasing their effectiveness as managers and leaders

     • newer to college administration and needing immediate learning and 
       application

Who may enroll in the program? 
Any administrator working in an ONTARIO CAAT college.

 Program requirements
To complete the certificate program, eight (8) courses will need to be completed. Students may enroll in a course at anytime, without making a commitment to the certificate program.

Cost
: $595/course for OCASA members(GST exempt) $695/course for non-OCASA members (GST exempt)
          Duration of course: 6 -week modules, unless otherwise stated. 
Time commitment from student: expect 10 – 15 hours/week
Time required to complete certificate: The maximum time for completion of the program is seven years.
