The exercises outlined in this booklet are meant to be used as a warm-up routine to prepare the body for action. They can be combined with aerobic activities as a total fitness program. A self-administered physical activity readiness questionnaire is provided for use before any activities are undertaken.
The exercises are classic, conservative ones familiar to anyone who has been involved in exercise classes. They are graded in three levels of difficulty and are illustrated in delightful drawings by Chelle. The authors have prepared an attractive, useful and inexpensive booklet, which is recommended for purchase by high schools.
