DON'T CALL ME SUGAR BABY!
Volume 12 Number 1
Alison, the heroine, is a twelve-year-old who is diagnosed with diabetes. This story tells of Alison's difficulties coming to grips with her treatment and the changes in her life caused by her disease. She whines a lot, but the book does end on a positive note. This book is the history of a medical event more than a story. Assuming that the information about diabetes is correct, it could promote awareness and will be enjoyed by readers who want books about nurses and hospitals.
