This is a rap video about the dangers of contracting the AIDS virus if a person is an intravenous drug abuser and shares his or her needle with someone else.

The video has quite graphic background pictures depicting the IV drug use scene, including pictures of newborn babies in withdrawal. I found myself wondering then what the video was trying to warn people about, the dangers of the AIDS virus or the dangers of IV drug abuse? We need to tell our young people about the dangers of both, I agree. I just found the title somewhat misleading and so will anyone else who picks up the video thinking it might be a good way to get the message about the AIDS virus across to students.

I also found the video slow moving and dull. Perhaps I have been spoiled by all the ultra high tech music/rap videos around; however, I think a great deal more could have been done with this in terms of "jazzing" it up a little.

It is a great idea that just misses the mark. Buy it only if you have money left over in the budget and want to have a different way of doing some public education on either subject.

Not recommended.
