Dr. Phillips teaches labour economics, political economy and Canadian economic history. His current research includes four areas, the economic impact of the 1st World War on Canadian development; industrial relations and economic change in Slovenia since the breakup of the Yugoslav Federation; women, work and unemployment insurance in Canada; and Aboriginal Economics and Property Rights at the Time of Contact.
