I teach a wide variety of courses in the Department of Economics and in the Labour & Workplace Studies Programme, depending on where they need me. Subject areas range from economic history to social policy to statistics.  My current research area is twentieth-century European economic history and the formation of the European Union, in particular the role my native The Netherlands played during that period.
