Iridium - Reactivating your UMnetID / enabling your accounts

This document explains how to activate your U of M Computer Accounts.
This procedure must be done for returning staff and students whose accounts have been disabled after being away.

Note: You must know your previous account password in order to complete the following steps.

If you do not know your password, you will need to contact the IST Help & Solutions Centre.

To begin, visit http://umanitoba.ca/iridium and login with your username and password.  If this is your first time logging into Iridium, you can login with your password to any of the following:

  • Jump
  • INS (Open Area Labs)
  • CNS (Staff Novell Login)

The first time you login to Iridium you will be prompted to provide answers to your security questions.
These questions allow you to use the "Forgot Password" feature of Iridium.
You must answer at least three (and be a minimum of 5 characters long).

Click on the Optional Accounts tab
