What systems are available to me to use?
Students and Staff

The University of Manitoba is currently transitioning from the ANGEL learning management system to Desire2Learn (D2L). This transition will be completed by the spring of 2013. Please note:

PLEASE NOTE: Iridium (the Claim your UMNetID System) has now been connected to our new email system, Exchange.
When you change your password in Iridium, within 10 minutes your Exchange password will be updated to the new password you have selected.
If you are using a different password in the Iridium system, your Exchange password will not change until you update it in Iridium.
Users who are using Outlook 2010 who change their password in Iridium will be prompted by Outlook 2010 to enter the new password for their Exchange account.
New staff at the University will be able to claim their Exchange Email & Calendar directly through Iridium.

Ensuring you have access to the systems you need
To ensure you have proper access to the account you need, begin by logging into Iridium
If prompted, set the answers to your security questions.
These questions allow you to use the "Forgot Password" feature of Iridium.
You must answer at least three (and be a minimum of 5 characters long)
Click on the Profile tab
Click on the Optional Accounts tab


Check any optional accounts you would like to have.
Click the Claim additional resources button.
Click on the Profile tab once more
Click on the Status of Accounts tab

Ensure that CCU is unchecked as well as any other account you want to use.
Uncheck your accounts to enable them

Click Save Changes when done.
Wait 10 minutes for your accounts to become active.
