Connect to Wired Network
The University of Manitoba has a number of open-area computer labs where someone with a laptop may connect to the internet and network using login ports.

Available to:
Students, Faculty, Staff

Network Login Ports:
These specially designated ports give access to the campus network and the internet. Users will require a laptop, a UMNetID and password, and a standard Ethernet network cable.

Network Login Locations:
Access ports are available in 237 Agriculture, 008 Dafoe, E2-135 EITC, 182 Frank Kennedy, and 233 University College.

  • Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis
  • For access to non-public ports you will need to contact IST Help & Solutions Centre
