Connect to Wired Network

The University of Manitoba has a number of Academic Computing and Networking (ACN) open-area computer labs where someone with a laptop may connect to the internet and network using login ports.

Available to:
Students, Faculty, Staff

Network Login Ports:
These specially designated ports give access to the campus network and the internet. Users will require a laptop configured for DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), a UMNetID and password, and a standard Ethernet network cable (Category 5).

Network Login Locations:
Access ports are available in 237 Agriculture, 008 Dafoe, E2-135 EITC, 182 Frank Kennedy, and 233 University College.
