Office 365 for Students is an Office 365 plan that is available for free to University of Manitoba students. (Please Note: Mac users only have access to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote and Outlook)

This plan allows students to install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and Access on up to 5 PCs or MACs (excluding Publisher and Access) and Office aps on other mobile devices including Android, iPad®, and Windows tablets.  The plan also includes 1TB of OneDrive storage.

What is included with Office 365?

• Office 365 ProPlus for PC (Office 2019 ProPlus base applications)
• Office 365 ProPlus for Mac (Office 2019 for Mac base applications)
• Office Mobile for iPhone, Android and Windows Phones

How do I get free Office 365 ProPlus?

To install Office 365 to your computer (Windows or Mac)

1. Login to your student email
2. Click on your initials in the top right corner
3. Click on View account
4. Under Office Apps, click Manage, then install Office 365

Where do I find it?

1. Sign into Office 365 with your @myumanitoba.ca email account school credentials here
   .    
2. Click the gear icon in the top right-hand corner. 
3. Choose Office 365 Settings.
4. Click Software in the left-hand menu.
5. Click Office
6. Start your download by clicking Install
   •  If prompted:
          Choose Office 365 Account.
          Enter your email address and password.
