Database Technologies

Areas of Responsibility

The Database Technologies group is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of many of the University of Manitoba's centralized database engines, as well as the integrity and consistency of the data stored within.

To ensure efficiency in their operation all databases require a database design review.

We also operate using regular backup schedules with on- and off-site storage, preserving your data and protecting it from possible harm.

To contact us, e-mail mysql@cc.umanitoba.ca, mssql@cc.umanitoba.ca , oracle@cc.umanitoba.ca , or sybase@cc.umanitoba.ca and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have a login to our databases, we will have some information collected about you for contact purposes only. Here is our privacy statement.
