Instructional Technology
The University offers course management tools, Angel, Desire2Learn and JUMP. Angel Learning is currently being phased out and the U of M is transitioning to Desire2Learn. To learn more about developing your academic courses using these tools, contact support@umanitoba.ca.

If you prefer to author your web pages outside of a course management tool, support and instruction are available for both official and personal pages. For web publishing, contact Computer Training at 474-9178.

Labs & Facilities
The IST computer labs are open to all UofM students and staff for drop-in use. Wireless hotspots can also be found on campus.
Bookable teaching labs are located in the Microcomputer Centre, 331 University Centre. The Centre has two 24-seat PC teaching labs that can be booked by instructors. No charge for daytime internal use. Limited bookings can be arranged in the other IST computer labs. Contact Computer Training at 474-8213.

Instructional software is available to students and staff in the IST computer labs.

Requests to install or purchase instructional software are considered three times a year. To make instructional software or assignments available in the IST computer labs, contact Software License Administrator at 474-9475.
Electronic Mailing Lists
To request an electronic mailing list on the Mailman server for your course or project, contact Nick Donaldson at 474-8649.
