Online Training Webinars/Videos and Demonstrations:

EPIC APPROVERS:   As an alternative to attending a 1 hour in class training session, you have the option to complete the training online. 
Watch the first 4 of the following webinars and once done, complete the EPIC Employee Training Record* formto gain access to the tool.
Getting Started in EPIC, Changing your Email Notifications, Delegating Authority and Approve or Deny a purchase request in EPIC.

EPIC USERS:   As an alternative to attending a 3 hour in class training session, you have the option to complete the training online. 
Watch ALL 6 of the following webinars and once done, complete the EPIC Employee Training Record* formto gain access to the tool.

*NOTE:
Ensure you have also completed your EPIC Access Request form in order to be granted access. Aurora Finance will notify you via email once access has been granted.

Approve or Deny a purchase request in EPIC (5 mins)

  • Step by step instructions on how to approve from within your email or when logged in to EPIC.


Getting Started in EPIC (6 mins)

  • Step by step visual and audio instructions on how to log in to EPIC and set up your Account/Ship To information. 

Changing your Email Notifications (6 mins)

  • Learn how to change your email notification preferences.
    NOTE: EPIC is currently set to Send Email Immediately for all notifications.  You will need to log in to EPIC and change your Email Notification Preferences through the Preferences Tab if you want to stop receiving email notifications from EPIC.

Delegating Authority (4 mins)

  • In the event that you are temporarily away, you can assign your rights to another individual. This learning session will guide you through how to delegate your authority for a specified amount of time. 

Creating a Requisition (9 mins)

  • This eLearn will be walking you through how to access our Catalogs within EPIC.Catalogs provide you with a variety of goods or services that are regularly ordered at the University with suppliers who have negotiated agreements. . 

Creating a Non-Catalog Requisition (8 mins)

  • When you cannot find what you are looking for in either a Local or Punchout Catalog, you can add a Non-Catalog item manually to your purchase request 

Open Lab Sessions

What are Open Lab Sessions? 
A drop-in session offered for users in faculties and units who have gone live.  We invite you to come do your first Purchase Requisitions with in-person support to guide you along the way.
