Dr. Rodney A. Clifton
Rodney
A. Clifton earned a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and a Fil. Dr.
from the University of Stockholm. He has taught at the University of Toronto,
Memorial University, Bishop's University, and the University of Manitoba.
In addition, he has held research fellowships at the University of Stockholm
and the Australian Council for Educational Research. He has published
Socioeconomic status, attitudes, and educational performances: A comparison
of students in England and New Zealand (Almqvist & Wiksell International,
1978), Authority in Classrooms with Lance W. Roberts (Prentice Hall, 1993),
and Crosscurrents: Contemporary Canadian educational issues also with
Lance W. Roberts (Nelson Canada, 1995), and more than 70 articles and
essays in educational and sociological journals and books.
