The Imperial Oil Academy for the Learning of Mathematics, Science and Technology (IOA) is a Collective of members of the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba who work in the area of mathematics, science or technology education. The IOA is funded through an annually awarded grant by the Imperial Oil Charitable Foundation.

The Imperial Oil Academy (IOA) will soon be calling for submissions for the

2008-09 Scholarly Writing Award.

The award of $500 is established to promote graduate student academic leadership in mathematics, science, and technology education.

Eligibility is limited to recent graduate students of the University of Manitoba who completed a Master of Education degree in 2007-08.
