The supercells and squall line of May 23, 2008
What happened?
On May 23, 2008 a major outbreak of severe weather occurred in southwest Kansas. This outbreak included a bunch of supercells, mostly tornadic, and later a squall line pushing through the area. The RADAR imagery is presented here.
