The Valentine, NE supercell of July 13, 2009
What happened?
On June 11, 2009 a supercell thunderstorm initiated near Rapid City, SD and lasted for more than 8 hours, dropping large hail and occasional weak tornadoes along its path. It was chased by the webmaster. Some of the conventional RADAR imagery is presented here.
